Made from our 100% upcycled Billie Jean yarn and with a slouchy feel and relaxed fit, these shorts are light and breathable, perfect for seaside strolls or lounging in on lazy weekends. Worked up in stocking stitch and 1x1 rib, this is an intermediate project perfect for knitters looking to expand their knowledge shaping by increasing and decreasing.
The Heartbreaker shorts require 5mm (US8) knitting needles and a 5mm crochet hook for the drawstring.
Billie Jean Yarn is made using upcycled pre-consumer denim waste. This waste is ground back into fibre and woven into our new Billie Jean Yarn. Using no chemicals and no dyes.
Please Note - Bille Jean Yarn is upcycled denim yarn will perform as most blue jeans, which have the possibility to fade a bit during the first wash and have a small amount of colour transfer.
This base kit comes with 1 x Heartbreaker Shorts Pattern; 1 x Sewing Needle; 1 x 5 mm knitting needles, and you complete the kit by choosing 3 x Balls of Billie Jean Yarn and you're good to go!
Additionally you will need a 5 mm crochet hook to complete your garment which you can order from us if you don't have one.
